| After checking out from the hotel (left my heavy luggage at the reception), I wandered in a different direction and chanced upon the Narita Stadium. Walked in and realised that there was some high-school football tournament going on. Hanged around till it started raining (match was abandoned anyway). The rain probably came at the right time since I wasn't really in the mood to wonder around anyway; my mind was pretty preoccupied on whether I can get to Los Angeles on the next flight. Had a lunch bento and made my way to the airport.
I started to get really paranoid about my situation when I stepped into the airport. Contacted my colleagues in Sillypore and got them to check flight load. It actually got worse somehow! Although I know it's not my fault, I still felt pretty panicky if I would had gone back to Singapore without getting any work done. At around 4pm, I summoned my courage and "confronted" the CSO.
"Good afternoon, I was the guy who got offloaded from yesterday's flight. I really need to get to Los Angeles. Can you kindly check if there is a seat for me? I don't care if it is an economy or a cargo seat (I cannot believe I actually said that)."
"Ah,
you are Wyattwang.Com-san. I had been waiting for you. Let me check if there is a seat." The CSO began to type seriously into the system for 10secs (it actually felt like 1 hour) and looked up to me. "I'm SORRY, Wyattwang.Com-san..."
"What?!", I paniced,
"the flight is full again?! I need to get to Los Angeles asap. Can you get me up as cargo?! I seriously don't mind (I still cannot believe I actually said that). "
"No no, Wyattwang.com-san. I wanted to check if you would prefer a window seat on First Class." the CSO spoke meekly.
On hindsight, I should just relaxed and enjoy myself in Japan. Somehow, I just wasn't able to seize the moment and end up having a panicky experience. :( As the plane slowly taxied onto the runway, the rain stopped and I managed to catch a glimpse of the evening glow shinning generously on the Land of the Rising Sun. And as usual, I pondered if I will ever be here again; only time will tell...

I really wonder why Japanese school girls must wear such short skirts and sexy black socks/stockings to school everyday. - wyattwang.com at Narita JR station
p.s.: To be very frank, I think the Japanese girls are pretty cute. |

The all-important (at least to these 22 young men walking towards the field) kick-off.

"Why was I not on the field?"

Sometimes I think I'm such a hypocrite. Here I am crapping about the last moments of a slain Unagi and yet I got a delicious Unagi Bento (¥710) for lunch!
I ought to be shot.

I was on my way back to the airport and I noticed vending machines on each and every platform (of Narita Keisei Train Station).
In fact, there are vending machines EVERYWHERE! They can't sell beer though; heard from a pilot that it was just banned a couple of years ago.

I used to poke fun of silly tourists taking pictures on Singapore's Metro system. Trying to observe if there is anyone who may be laughing at me as well for taking pictures on the train to the airport. |

I got my ticket to Los Angeles and now can sit easy and behave like a silly tourist. |

Behind the fence, lies a broken heart that is still waiting for the speical one...
Okie, I suck at writing such lovey-dovey stuff. |

Aircraft landed late because the gate that was assigned to the flight is still occupied.
Claimed my baggage late because something was wrong with the baggage belt.
Reached
the next terminal late because the direction signs were useless.
Domestic flight was late because someone actually went to switch off the air-conditioning.
