Last
evening in KL. We were nearly uptight about going back to
Singapore, and facing all the work shit even though there
is still a Labour Day holiday for us to rest before work
resumes. We rushed to eat as much goodies in KL as
possible. As of all other trips, only god knows whether
when will get back.
We
went back to Jalan Petaling for dinner and some last minute
shopping as Bb (my ex) needs to get some stuff for her mum (in the
end, I got a Tiger Beer T-Shirt for myself). Schedule was
in fact very tight as we still have to go to KLCC (Twin
Towers) to take a look and back to Bukit Bintang for some
real "last-minute" shopping. Bb did get some stuff
and we were the last few shoppers that left Lot 10 Shopping
Complex that evening.
I
made a tactical error and bought Express Pagi train back
to Johor Bahru whereas we could have taken the afternoon
train (Express Raykat) instead. That would had provided us some
time to catch some more sleep, eat a proper breakfast and
to go walk around Bukit Bintang again. Oh well, but I suppose
everything was ok. We woke up 730, rushed like mad but made
it for the train in the end. Bb got a Ta Pao (big bun) for
breakfast.
Home
(Sillypore), it's so strange that we can't live without
it. Till the next time, I suppose.... |

Signboard
says Air Mata Kuching (cat eyes water). This is actually
a dried Longan drink brewed with Luo han Guo, Rock Sugar
and winter melon. It is supposed to be very cooling to the
body, and we could taste the bits of winter melon. Though
I thought it was damn sweet and not-at-all thirst quenching.
Rm1.20 per cup at Jalan Petaling. |

Bb (my ex) eating
Claypot rice at Jalan Petaling. We ordered a 2-man portion
Clayport Rice with a vegetable for Rm17. It wasn't mind
blowing, but the idea of streetside stalls and eating authentic
Claypot rice always makes Singaporeans excited. |
 |
Bb (my ex) at
Rotiboy outlet in KLCC. The self-confessed Rotiboy (a.k.a
Bb) addict got her Rotiboy just 60 secs after leaving KLCC
train station. It was piping hot and tastes just like Singapore's
Rotiboy though I'm not sure how long can this fab last? |

Petronas
towers from the midget. We were like midgets, no ... should
be ants as compared to the magnificant Twin Towers. It was
a Saturday evening and there were alot of youths sitting
around in the park. Not a good location to take photographs,
but I suppose for first time vistors like me, it was ok. |
 |
Bb (my ex) at
Bukit Bintang night market eating "Guang Fu Chao"
(Cantonese style Hor Fun, Rm 5) and Portuguese Ikan Bakar
(BBQ fish, Rm10). I suppose the "Guang Fu Chao"
tasted better than the "Fu Jian Chao", and should
be more adapted to Singaporean taste. The BBQ fish was a
bit different from the local version, as the fish with the
Sambal Chilli was done up with aluminum foil and banana
leaf (as base) and grilled on a charcoal pit instead of
BBQing it entirely with banana leaves and a flat pan. The
fish was ok though. We still don't have a damn idea on why
it is called Portuguese Ikan Bakar. |

Photo-taking
session time with the newly bought Tiger Beer T-shirt (Rm20)
in the hotel room with Bb (my ex) . The Tiger Beer was bought specially
for the occasion (Rm6.20) and people who know me will recall
that I hate Tiger Beer. |
 |
I just
had to pose for a corny picture when I'm in overseas even
though Beer was fuc*ing expensive. Drunk on the hotel room
couch. |
 |
Next morning
and we woke up to perform the routine of taking pictures
of the room and us with our ever-reliable timer-activated
camera. Both of us just woke up and felt quite stoned. |
 |
Bb's (my ex) right
hand and Ta Bao. It doesn't look that big on picture but
we thought that it was really huge. We should have taken
a picture of the ta Pao together with Bb's stomach because
the whole damn thing went in! |
 |
The eloping couple (now no more) strikes.
Fucke* up feeling of going home. On train and I think we
were reaching Segamat. Both were stoned and we need to catch
up on sleep. |
