Hong
Kong is ok, since we are not staying for long. Although
the "free" city tour was not encouraging (at all),
we did go to places like Temple Street, Women Street, Wong
Tai Shian Temple. The main aim of this trip will be a journey
to the Precious Lotus Temple in Lan Tau Island. Both of
us hope that it is as good as it was described.
We were not disappointed.

Ok,
I have to admit there was nothing much to do. Since I had
a camera and a Carlsberg, I may as well make full use of
it. Do I look like Tony Leung? |
 |
Sunday
Morning - Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. Empty deck. Hong Kong
is sleeping. Waiting for train to Lantau Island. |
 |
The reason
on why we came HongKong! A funny incident happened here.
While we got off the bus, we were looking around and assuming
that the great buddha must be behind some hill as we couldn't
see it. When we turned around, we were shocked to see its
size! The heaven and earth shall be the witness of this
greatness. |
 |
Just one
for memory - Entrance of Precious Lotus Temple. We were
early that day. Didn't know that it only opened at 10am.
|
 |
We were
all humbled by its greatness and sheer size. |
 |
Another
one for memory. Notice that there are a lot of people now. |
 |
Vege Lunch
at Po Lian Temple, HK$60/person. Great Food. We had stired
fried vegetables with mushrooms, mixed vegetables, fried
"po pian", Tofu stew and 6 favour soup. |
 |
Drought
in Hua Nan. How to make Singaporeans save water? If only
we can be constantly mindful of our surroundings. Found
this extremely interesting as it reminds and encourages
people not to waste water. |
 |
Outside
Heng Xiang. 10 boxes of wife biscuits in Yuen Lang!!! Kiasuism
at WORK! Found it after a 2 hour walk. God knows why we
missed it as it was along the main road. It was memorable
as we went into the heartlands of a residential area in
New Territories. |

Lifeless
MongKok. There are many people but it could be pretty lonely. |
