Fly me up, the bubbly me. When the old veteran is down, nothing beats it than to meet the cold cousin. Though it stir-fries my liver, or sending sugars up my spine, I am addicted and I cant stop.

In order to curb myself, though I know that it is a weak attempt, I am keeping track of the cans and pints of coke/beer that I devour. For personal satisfaction or prevention, I am keeping it online so that I can check my monthly status at anywhere in this universe.

Disclaimer: Only where there is internet connectivity. (i.e. If there is not internet, there will be NO reminders on how much have I drank or not drunk!)

Update (as of 3 Nov 09): After 2 meditation retreats, I had since been clean from alcohol for a good 5 months (my last beer was on 6 Jun 09). I hope I would continue to keep my precepts.

Update (as of 4 Sep 11): It had been more than 2 years since I touched any alcohol. Religion had (and hopefully will be) provided me with the greatest belief that I should continue to keep this precept. As I read what I wrote above, I wondered if I really wrote all this crap when I was drunk.
