Time passes like a flash when you are having fun. We wandered around in sleepy Ubud for any last minute sight seeing. It was easy to just slack it off in Ubud. Traffic is not as hectic as compared to Kuta. It was more of a honest town with children going to schools, and the locals going around doing their daily work and playing football during the evenings. The streets were pretty quiet by 8pm, though I was probably too restless to enjoy it. Perhaps I was thinking about home, or maybe the fear of going home. I don't know. I drank Bir Bintang to cool it all off in the room. The Delta Mart guy must have recognized me since I walked in 3 times a day to get a big bottle of Bintang at Rp10k/bottle.

Soon it was the fourth day in Ubud and we will go back to touristy Kuta for the remaining night in Bali. Before breakfast, I walked to the Post Office from my guesthouse only to realise that it was a major Indonesian public holiday: Hari Puasa Haji. Ubud certainly doesn't give you the impression that it was a major day since 95% of the population is Hindu, not Muslim. Thus, the post office opens at 9am, not 8am. I didn't wait, because I got to rush for a bus back to Kuta.

Pp (with Bir Bintang) and Bb (my ex) taking a picture of ourselves and the nice wooden board of Pramesti Bungalows. Trusty timer function at work.
Plain role playing of me drinking Bir Bintang while wearing the Bir Bintang T-shirt. Got the T-shirt in Pasar Ubud at Rp15k/piece. Original price quoted as was kind of high at Rp60k.
Bb (my ex) doing her first manicure in Milano Salon at Rp60k, while I simply hang around. It took about an hour. The lady was only 23 years old.
Bb (my ex) at Deva Warung, Jalan Goutama. The Bali style seats were quite comfortable. I don't mind bunking there in the night provided it didn't rained.
The Buddha watches over a deserted street.
We were in another one of those role-playing photographs. i guess we did that because there was nothing to do during the evenings. We simply sat back and listened to Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell from my handphone.
Me sending a post card to my brother. I wondered whether my postcard will eventually reach its destination since the mail box looks old. Was told by my brother that it reached after 2 weeks.
We had a simple breakfast of omelette with the usual fare of fresh fruits. Bb (my ex) was catching up on her reading... *see next*
... while Pp got his fix of Bir Bintang at 9am in the morning. Oh boy, I was glad that my guesthouse was near to a Delta Mart!
Beer Bintang only comes in botol besar (a.k.a large Bottles). 8 empty bottles signifies 8 times which I felt high and dry.
